Our Life as an Adventure Novel

When we last left our intrepid explorers they were exploring a potential shortcut through the jungle separating them from the land of pregnancy.

New information from their trusty guide and her staff suggested that they could take a more traditional path than originally thought, avoiding the unpredictable journey through the Clomid Valley. GPS testing indicated the possible location of the magic egg required to unlock the gates to the path through the jungle, so equipped with a skeleton key (or HCG shot) our explorers set off.

They quickly found a set of gates that matched the description of the mythical gates of ovulation and set out on the two week journey to the other side of the jungle. Along the way they noted several landmarks that seemed unfamiliar. Was this actually the proper path? Or had they been fooled by a false set of gates? Compass (temperature) readings seemed off throughout the trip, but they kept hopes high that the path would deliver them to the bridge of testing safely.

Finally, over two weeks after the journey began, the bridge of testing loomed large. Would they be able to pass into the land of pregnancy or would they be sent back to the other side of the jungle to find a new way through? The first attempt to cross the bridge was rebuffed with a negative home pregnancy test. After establishing communication with the assistant to their trusty guide, it was decided to wait and attempt to cross again in a few days.

This morning a second attempt to cross the bridge was met with the same result. It doesn't look good for our explorers this trip, and now they must consult with their guide once more to determine the next course of action.
